First thing you should do is vacuum your house and get rid of any spider webs you see. Switch off some of your exterior lights, or swap some of your present light bulbs to yellow sodium vapor lights. Spiders are attracted to shelter and warmth, stacks of fire wood and leaf piles should be removed. Make sure to seal all the cracks in your home, even the screens on windows and doors.
